Help Chloe Cat Rebuild After Surgery

Hello, my name is Chloe Cat and I am a transgender artist and educator living in Rochester, New York. During 2024 I had to take a lot of time off from work in Spring and Fall to recover from gender affirming surgeries, and lost a lot of income due to needing to take time off. I work in mental health and special needs education, which is unfortunately wildly underfunded, and have ended up being very behind on rent and bills due to loss of wages. Transgender folks are statistically more likely to be unemployed or underemployed, while studies have shown that gender affirming care is life-saving medicine.

I feel very lucky to be living in a state where gender affirming care is not being outlawed, receiving this care absolutely saved my life, so anything and everything helps to get me back on my feet! <3
