Fam, friends, and local community. I’m Monica, and I’m raising much-needed funds for my best friend, my sister in life, and for my nephew. Chloe is a young single mom, whose life has been ravaged by TWO incurable, life-long diseases (ulcerative colitis and endometriosis). These two diseases have caused her to lose her job, causing food instability and ultimately, are now closing in on her and her son’s housing stability. Disability is currently stuck in the slowly turning cogs of bureaucracy.

When I tell you this woman has been through it, it’s an understatement. A survivor of childhood trauma, intimate partner violence, and these health horrors have wrung the life and joy out of this amazing, intelligent, kind, funny human.

We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover a year’s worth of rent so she can focus on healing and hopefully, remission, without the heavy burden of whether she’ll have a place to live or not.

We’ve applied for every waitlist, resource, and support system you can think of. We are grasping at straws and we are clinging to the hope that there are enough kind humans who come across her story and feel compelled to help in some way.
