Hi everyone my name is Tiffany and I am Chloe’s aunt, I am reaching out to ask for your support for our dear Chloe, who is facing one of the most difficult times of her life.

At just 29 weeks pregnant, Chloe took a trip to St. John’s this past Saturday, excited to see her baby girl in 3D at the UC Baby clinic—what was meant to be a joyful moment turned into a devastating reality. Instead of leaving with treasured ultrasound images, she was immediately sent to the Janeway Children’s Hospital, where doctors discovered a serious heart condition affecting her little girl.

Chloe’s baby girl has been diagnosed with a thickened heart muscle that is restricting blood flow, and doctors have warned that she may have to deliver early and have begun steriod treatment to strengthen the baby's lungs. The thought of losing her baby is something no mother should ever have to face, but Chloe is holding on to hope. If her little girl beats the odds and makes it through birth, she will still have a long, difficult road ahead, with life-threatening risks and the need for open-heart surgery once she is strong enough to endure it.

She now has to stay in the hospital until her baby is born, far from home and facing so many unknowns. This is an incredibly emotional and difficult time, and the last thing she and her family should have to worry about is the financial burden that comes with it.
