Help Chloe (4yrs old) get ACL surgery 1 of 2
Chloe is turning 4 on May 2nd, 2021. She is so young and has so much life to live. Everyone who knows Chloe knows how loving, sweet and cute she is.
Chloe fell down the stairs a few weeks back and she INJURED her leg immediately. Knowing what happened to her and watching her limp around, walk on three legs and having such a hard time getting up and/or laying down has broke my heart. I called and got her pet insurance (trupanion) same day and waited for the injury waiting period of 5 days to be over before making an appointment so that X-rays, CT scans, and surgeries were covered.
Chloe wakes up in the middle of the night crying in pain, can barley go up or down the stairs and doesn’t have it in her to play with our other 4 year old house dog Bella.
After going to the vet today. It is determined that Chloe has torn her ACL and the other one will tear within the next year. The X-rays cost $600 and the ACL surgeries $5300 each!
Poor Chloe fell down the stairs and once againINJURED her leg BUT the pet insurance (trupanion... BOOOOO!!!) has deemed this as an illness and will not cover.
AN ILLNESS??? ACL TEAR??? ARE YOU KIDDING !!!!!
The purpose of getting pet insurance was because I cannot afford this surgery and had to push it off today. I am going through medical issues of my own and can barley afford those bills.
