Chispita is my sister’s beloved 6-month-old yorkie mix puppy, and she’s always been a source of joy and comfort for their family. Recently, Chispita suffered a broken heel and now can’t walk or play like she used to. It’s heartbreaking to see her in pain, especially knowing how much she means to my sister and her two young children.
My sister is the only provider for her family. Her partner recently lost his job, and with two kids to care for, covering the cost of Chispita’s urgent surgery is overwhelming. The veterinarians have said that Chispita needs surgery as soon as possible to repair her heel. Without it, she may lose her leg. My sister has already spent a lot on initial exams and treatment, but the surgery and follow-up care are more than she can manage alone right now.
I’m organizing this fundraiser to help my sister give Chispita the care she needs. Every donation will go directly toward the surgery, post-operative care, and any additional treatments to help Chispita recover and return to her happy, playful self. Your support will make a real difference for this family during a very difficult time.
