Help Chirag Fight for His Life—and for His Little Boy

My husband Chirag Patel since December 2023 has been fighting non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL). After going into remission in June 2024 we thought he had won his battle but now the cancer has developed into Secondary Central Nervous System Lymphoma (SCNSL) further developing in his brain and lower spine leaving him to be bedbound but cognitively fully alert.

Chirag is a devoted father to a beautiful two-year-old boy who is his world. Chirag’s greatest wish is to see him grow up, to be there for his first day of school, his birthdays, his life. After years of waiting to become a father, Chirag’s not ready to lose this battle against cancer.

Now, the devastating news: After 6 months of hospital treatment from October 2024 and 4 rounds of high dose chemotherapy (MATRIX) the NHS has exhausted its treatment options and Chirag was discharged on 20th March 2025 for palliative care (end of life) with a prognosis of 2 months left.

But Chirag’s not giving up.

The full cost of treatment is circa £480K with the potential to rise if complications occur with additional hospital treatment. Chirag is not fit to fly for treatment abroad so his only option is to undergo this therapy privately within England.

Every single penny donated will go directly towards this vital CAR-T Therapy. We are exhausting resources including disposing of assets to fund this treatment and secured mid-term funding to cover costs, so his therapeutic window does not fully shut.
