Help Chip replace his tools and possessions.

Donation protected
Chip has lost everything! Last Saturday, a fire destroyed the house Chip was storing all his tools and possessions in.
The fire caught hold in the roof space of the building. Chip used more than four fire extinguishers in his attempt to put out the fire while waiting for the fire department to arrive. He was then sent out of the building by the firefighters and only managed to grab his laptop and his road bike on his way out. He dropped his keys to his van whilst fighting the fire inside. All he could do was stand back and watch the fire take hold and destroy everything. Chip had his iphone on him and these pictures came from him at the time.

The Fire Brigade tried to stop the fire from spreading, but it grew so fast all they could do was contain it and prevent further buildings from catching alight.
The utter devastation was immense. The blaze was so hot it melted the front of Chip's van parked outside. The fire was still smoldering on Monday, and all that remained was tin sheets, oven carcasses and charred wood.
It is unclear how the fire caught hold in the building, but it is clear it was not Chip's fault. He has lost all his worldly possessions: clothes, photos, tools, and damage to his car to make it unusable. The windscreen cracked and the lights and all rubber melted off.

The big issue for Chip is that he did not have personal contents insurance and faces the massive task of replacing his belongings and rebuilding his life. He did save his own laptop and  email and ogrinal phone number, so please contact him directly if you have his email or number to give him suppourt directly.

Good friends have taken him in immediately to help him stabilize and gather himself together. He's had more offers of help for temporary accommodation, along with immediate donations of clothes, as he only escaped with what he had on at the time.

Now what is needed is a bit of help from the wider community so that Chip can buy some clothes, replace his tools, get a new vehicle or repair the old one. Since he's been recovering from a hip operation in December he's been using his savings up. What he needs is a short-term injection of cash to help get him back on track. Let's get Chip's cheeky smile back on his face again.

Many thanks for all donations, big or small; it all goes to help him in this time of great personal need. NB.  ALL money goes to Chip!!
Thank you. Jamie
