Born with Lissencephaly and Cerebral Palsy, Chinua faces challenges that require constant medical attention, special therapies, and round-the-clock care. Many doubted he would survive infancy. His father abandoned him two months after birth. Others told his mother to give up and to leave him behind.

But she refused to let her son face the world alone.

For nine years, she has fought for him with everything she has. She works tirelessly to manage his medical needs, comfort him through seizures, attend every appointment, and provide the love and stability he needs to stay strong.
