Hello everyone! My name is Colin and I am the founder of TheChefDoc, an online wellness resource dedicated to impacting and inspiring others to elevate their lives with the tools of lifestyle medicine and culinary medicine, and creating a thriving mindset.

However, this is not about me. This is about a couple of valued team members who work tirelessly behind the scenes for TheChefDoc and The Yu Center for Lifestyle Excellence, which is my mother's practice. They both wear multiple hats and are super talented at website management, social media management, creative superstars at creating content for our audiences to take back their health and wellness. We cannot be where we are without these two superstars.

They are both from the Philippines and there was a super typhoon that wrecked through the central Philippines on December 20th, 2021. (Click to check out the CNN story.) Homes have been destroyed, power and electricity have been lost, and there is not enough clean water available for everyone. They are both alive, but their livelihoods have been challenged to say the least. I posted some pictures just to give you an idea.

We are asking for help from our community to pitch in and donate what they can. We are hoping to send these monies to help them and their families ASAP. It is already terrible what has happened let alone right before the Xmas holidays and the New Year. We hope to raise enough money for increased access to clean water, nonperishable food, and the ability to build back their houses, and restore power. We hope to get them back on their feet so they can come back and continue helping our communities thrive for our own health/wellness here in the US!
