Hi wonderful, wonderful people, my name is Chima!!!

Fortunately I will be joining the prestigious film school, National Film & Television school (NFTS) - an opportunity for me to write and write and write without an ounce of guilt.

TUITION FEES

I've managed to sort out 70percent of the funding for the tuition fees but need help raising money for the rest.

My course begins on the 14th of January and need to pay the whole tuition fees before I am allowed in the premises.

I have sold things, emptied out a minuscule saving pot and still there is more to pay. this year has been a hard one for me as it has been for most people. Work has been few and far between because of chronic sciatica and ups and downs (I'm getting better though)

This year, I have worked on a short film called Cab Ride and have been writing short films (one of which got me into the masters), attending radical film studies workshops and all round educating myself.

My journey has been very tricky, plagued with long moments of hard work for little rewards, years of ghettoising my creativity to find a proper job, and years of struggling to meet the right people who could push my career forward.

Once I have completed the two year masters, my aim is to set up creative writing workshops for young and working class people around the UK and beyond.

Story is for everyone and I want to make people feel confident that they too have a story to tell. And that they can tell it to the best of their ability.

My intention is to work with indies, production companies and multidisciplinary artists to develop stories that engage, interrogates and unravels this world we live in. As well as speculate on possible futures.

Help me on my journey to navigate the institutions and become the writer I’ve been working hard to become. And hopefully we could work together in the future.
