Hello everyone, I am Mayada, a mother of five children. For over two years, my family’s life has been defined by a struggle for survival. We once had a home built with love and hard work, a place of stability and dreams. But the war took everything. In an instant, our home was reduced to rubble, and with it, our belongings, our security, and the life we had worked so hard to build.
We have been forced to start over from nothing, moving through the constant uncertainty of displacement. To survive the harsh conditions, we have sacrificed almost everything we had left.
Today, the reality we face is heartbreaking. Beyond the constant danger, we are struggling to meet the most basic human needs: food, clean water, and medical care in a place where prices have skyrocketed and resources are nearly impossible to find. Our stability is gone, and the future of our children—especially those whose engineering and academic dreams have been put on hold by this conflict—is at risk.
This fundraiser is created to help provide the stability and support my family desperately needs:
Emergency Housing: Providing a safe shelter to protect our family from the elements and the cycle of constant displacement.
Basic Essentials: Covering the skyrocketing costs of food, water, and hygiene supplies.
Educational Support: Helping the students in our family continue their education and preserve their future.
Medical & Psychological Care: Providing support for the physical and emotional trauma caused by over two years of living under bombardment.
Our story is more than just headlines; it is a story of resilience in the face of the impossible. We have endured more than most face in a lifetime. But together, we can change our story.
Your donation, no matter the amount, provides hope and a lifeline. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our fundraiser so we can reach as many compassionate hearts as possible.
Together, we can help my family get through this nightmare. Thank you for choosing kindness and for showing us that we are not alone.
We are a family of seven. The father, Mahmoud, is a computer engineer who lost his job and the career he built for years. I, the mother, Mayada, was a math teacher who was looking for a new job opportunity, but the war extinguished the flame of my dreams.
Our children also have stories to tell:
Jihad, my eldest son, a university student about to graduate in "Multimedia." His dream was to excel in his field and create content that expresses our struggles and lives. However, the war stripped us of our ability to pay his tuition, putting his dream at risk of collapse. His academic future is now uknown.
Mohammed, a second-year university student majoring in "Electrical Engineering," dreamed of contributing his skills to rebuild our country. But our dire circumstances have left us unable to provide for his basic needs or education. He watched his university dreams vanish in front of his eyes.
Firas, in his final year of high school, dreams of continuing his education and achieving his goals, but his displacement and lack of stability have taken a toll on his focus and studies. Now he faces an uncertain future, unsure of where to begin.
Mena, an 8th-grade student, had the ambition of becoming a teacher. Now, she is a child stripped of her right to a stable educational environment, struggling to continue her studies amidst the devastation. Yaseen, our youngest, in the 2nd grade, lives a childhood robbed of innocence. Instead of playing and learning, he spends his days seeking shelter from the rain and winds or searching for food to ease his hunger. Both are living a childhood completely unlike any other, stripped of safety and play.

We lost our home and everything in it. We were scattered and now live in tattered tents that offer no protection from the harshness of the days. But despite everything, we have not lost hope. We believe that every donation from you is more than just aid; it’s a chance for Mahmoud to return to his work, for Mayada to find her dream, for our sons to continue their education, and for Yaseen and Mena to have a safe childhood.
We have been forced to move from place to place, carrying with us only the remnants of our belongings: a few shattered clothes and blankets. We are fighting to secure water and food while living in a plastic tent that provides no protection from the harsh summer heat or the freezing cold of winter. Our children have endured every kind of humiliation and hardship, left scarred by the lack of stability and the ashes of their dreams.
Today, we turn to you, not just for ourselves but for our children, who deserve a life of dignity and a better future. Every contribution you make will restore hope to their hearts and help us secure a shelter for them, where they can rebuild their shattered dreams.
Please help us wipe their tears and bring them a safe and stable life. Join us in rescuing a family that longs for dignity and hope amidst destruction.

20,000 will be spent to travel and to buy goods of primary importance, while 10,000 will be used to complete my children's education elsewhere.
The donations will be collected by a friend of mine who will provide to send them to me once the goal is reached.
In conclusion, I cannot count all the oppression, suffering and humiliation we endured because of the war on Gaza. I ask you for help and support so that we can continue the rest of our lives outside the Gaza Strip.
Thank you.
