Provide UkraineMontessori technology, scholarships

My name is Ginny Cusack, a Montessori educator, former head of Lakeside Montessori Center, and former director of Princeton Center for Teacher Education (PCTE) in Princeton, NJ. I am raising money for the Ukrainian Montessori teacher training center known as Ukrainian Montessori Center (UMC). I volunteered to work with a team of educators from Princeton and Kyiv to establish Montessori education throughout Ukraine for the past 27 years and continue to do so. I know all UMC people.

The situation in Ukraine is even direr than before and the Ukrainian Montessori Center (UMC) desperately needs continued financial support to keep UMC open and educate more teachers without electricity, heat, and water. Because of that, they need money to purchase technology equipment to offer courses online and provide scholarships to schools that need more trained teachers. We are most grateful for donations that will make it possible to support Ukrainian children, teachers, UMC instructors and schools. The money will be used to purchase the following.

• Computers, power banks, clip-on microphones, EcoFlow, signal amplifiers, lighting lamps, modems

• LMS-Moodle MOODLE learning platform which is a course management system

• Scholarship fund: (UMC will give scholarships to train teachers for schools that need to replenish the staff of Montessori teachers lost due to war consequences. They hope to give 5 scholarships for the Early Childhood program at @$2000 USD each, and 5 scholarships for the Infant Toddler program at @$1600 USD each.

The entire amount of money raised will go directly to the Ukrainian Montessori Center.
