Hello, I am trying to raise funds to help families and children who have been affected by the recent immigration sweep. Often, the one taken is the major breadwinner of the family. Since the majority of the areas being targeted are impoverished ones, the effects are devastating, especially to the children. Most families are living week to week and just getting by. When the breadwinner is taken, the families will almost immediately face food insecurity, followed by being unable to pay for utilities and housing, leading to the family being homeless.

Considering the fear among these families, they are afraid to leave their homes, and even going to a food bank may present problems for them. My goal is to try and at least provide food assistance to those affected, and even if enough is raised, help with utilities and even housing on some level.

Normally, I would provide pictures and video on families benefiting from your donations, but these times are not normal, and I want to respect their privacy and anonymity on this. 100% of all donations will go to the families, minus any fees or taxes associated with this fundraiser. Any donation amount helps and is appreciated. Thank you for considering this fundraiser, and always stay vigilant and informed.
