Help Chikis Walk Again: Support Her Surgery

Hello everyone! My name is Karla De Leon. I just want to start off by thanking everyone for taking their time to read this. Any donation or prayer will help, thank you. Today I'm raising money to get surgery for Chikis! Chikis is the one who's eating her favorite doggie cupcake (she turned 9 years old that day, I just had to do her a photo shoot XD).

About a week ago, my mom noticed she was walking crooked, so we took her to the vet. And like any pet lover, we hate receiving bad news when it comes to our babies. Doctors said she has a disc problem and although they gave her meds, they haven't really been working. So they gave us another option, and that option is sadly surgery. Disc Surgery ranges from $1,000 to $15,000. She is still a very loving and active baby (shih tzu) who still has many years ahead of her, I'm not ready to give up just yet! I know by God's will we will be able to raise that money!

Down below is her disc picture on her pelvic area. If you don't know what a disc is, it is a fibrous tissue that provides a jelly-like cushion between the bones of the spine. These discs provide your dog's spine with the flexibility that helps them move, run, and jump easily. Intervertebral disc disease in dogs refers to a ruptured, displaced, or herniated disc in their back. I just want my baby back to her happy self, for days she has been crying each time she is walking, as well as she hasn't been able to sleep comfortably either, so please if you can donate $5.00, $10.00, whatever you can donate all would be appreciated. I appreciate for some prayers for her as well.
