My name is Preeya. I’ve been an animal rescuer for over 20 years. I’ve spent my life saving the lives of animals who needed me. Now I’m desperately in need of your help to save my own pet dogs.

In April 2025 my beloved chihuahua was rushed to the vets in an emergency for her heart condition. She was put in an oxygen tank, had an overnight stay, had scans done, and new permanent medication was given. Her life was thankfully saved. She is comfortable and at home now but she does require further checkups, regular medication and the costs keep rising.

My chihuahua means the world to me. She has been my Emotional Support Animal for a decade and I don’t know what I’d do without her by my side. She has been there for me through my hardest times and I owe it to her to do everything in my power to make sure that she will be ok. Throughout her whole life she’s given everyone she met nothing but love from the depths of her beautiful heart. Now her heart is in desperate need of help.

In March 2025 I unexpectedly adopted the dog of a friend who had sadly suddenly passed way. He was otherwise destined for a life in kennels where he was deeply unhappy. He’s a completely different dog with me. He’s happy, loving, and the perfect replacement as my Emotional Support Animal. In October 2025 he was unfortunately diagnosed with issues with the cruciate ligaments in his knees. He will now need surgery costing me approximately £8000! This has been a major shock for me.

As well as needing help with my chihuahua’s heart condition I now need help with my bully mix dog’s knees.
