Please Help Chihsuan Yang, Nikki and Ember

In a blink of an eye things can change. In a split second your life’s direction might take a drastically different route.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Saturday, September 18th following Chihsuan's performance in Gardena, CA. Chihsuan and her partner Nikki, and daughter were driving home on the 110 freeway, when a car from the opposite side of the freeway flipped over the center divider and collided with them head on.  All are thankfully alive but are hospitalized, in a stable condition. They do now need your help.

 

As a long-standing member of the legendary “Corky Siegel's ChamberBlues”, violinist Chihsuan has toured all over the world and participated on the world’s greatest stages and in critically acclaimed music festivals.

 

Chihsuan has two fractured vertebrae (L1 + L4). Her left hand is badly injured with a confirmed fractured pinky, which possibly needs surgery. Chihsuan refers to her hands as her “livelihood” and at this point, she is unsure when she will be able to work again. In addition to her fractured spine, she also has a broken toe and multiple lacerations including on her abdomen, from the impact and the seatbelt. They are monitoring her closely for internal bleeding.

 

Nikki has a fractured sternum and collarbone and may need surgery in the near future. She’s in a sling and is struggling to sit upright. Her daughter, 10 year old Ember, broke her sternum, has bruised lungs and abdomen from the impact and the seatbelt. They are currently monitoring her for internal bleeding.

 

Everybody is shocked, scared and worried. They need your help and support. COVID was hard enough and this unforeseen catastrophe has them at the breaking point.

 

We ask you to please help the family get through this safely and assist them on the road to recovery.
