Chico the Warrior King Needs Surgery to Walk Again

Hi, my name is Cynthia, and I’m raising funds for my beloved Chihuahua, Chico—my son, my little warrior king, and my greatest companion through life’s toughest storms.

Chico is 15 years old, but don’t let that number fool you—he is vibrant, alert, and full of life. His doctor believes he still has a great quality of life ahead after surgery. His organs are strong, his appetite is solid, and his spirit is bright. The only thing holding him back right now is a dislocated hip and painful mobility that can only be corrected through FHO surgery (Femoral Head Ostectomy).

The estimated cost is $4,181–$5,180, and it must be paid in full before surgery. I’m working full-time and covering our living needs, but this unexpected cost is more than I can handle alone.

But Chico is not alone in this world. He’s a neighborhood celebrity, adored by friends, family, neighbors—even the local grocery store employees ask about him. People light up when they see him.
