Hey folks - I'm Bridget and I'm Chez' friend based in London.

As you likely know, sadly Chez' brother Tony passed away suddenly a few days ago. Losing loved ones is one of the hardest things about being a human, and what's worse is that it comes with all sorts of really challenging logistics and formalities to try and navigate, on top of the overwhelm of grief.

I know that many of you - like me - would like to be able to offer some support to Chez and her family, but perhaps aren't local to LA.

Over the last 10+ years I have been constantly in awe of the work Chez does to help her community, the way she steps up and gets shit done - even / especially when it's not easy. I saw her relocate her life to Portland to support Tony, and have watched her continue to pivot in her life's path since Covid, finding new and brave ways to contribute to making life better and safer for others.

True to form, I know that Chez is digging deep right now to find the strength and capacity to try and alleviate the stress and pressure for others during this really sad and challenging time, so I wanted to create this fundraiser so folks like me can offer what little we might have, to help alleviate some of the stress and pressure for Chez. This includes helping with costs, resources and care to make this chapter as easeful as possible for everyone.

I know so many of us are feeling the pinch, all around the world, in such an unstable and scary time. But if you have even just a few dollars to spare, please know that every little bit counts.
