Help Cheyenne with surgery costs

Donation protected
Short Version:
On January 21st, Cheyenne sliced open her thumb and the area between the thumb and forefinger.
She severed not only muscles and tendons but nerves as well. The surgery had to be performed by an orthopedic surgeon, who reattached the tendon and nerves. She is currently in physical therapy; however, they do not expect her to regain full use of her thumb.
Insurance isn’t covering much of the costs, and so far, the cost is more than ½ of what she made last year at her job.

Series of unfortunate events (that led to over $17k in medical bills)
Cheyenne had to move in November. She moved about 1 hour away from her job. She tried to stay on but driving home at midnight was hard as she fought to stay awake. She decided to quit her job and look closer to her.

She gave notice to her work but couldn’t work the last 2 weeks because of the snowstorm, then tested positive for COVID. She was also not able to look for work. Already behind on bills, she cut her thumb as she recovered from COVID.

Unable to drive (or even write to fill out applications) for 8 weeks, she has finally can drive. Unfortunately, she is finding that most jobs don’t want to hire someone with just one hand, or the jobs require lifting more than she is able to at the moment.

As her mom, I am helping her with rent & food, but I can’t afford to cover these medical bills and I don’t want to see her claim bankruptcy because of them.

Any amount helps!!
Thank you!
