Hi, if you don’t know me, my name is Cheyenne. I never thought I’d be in a position where I would publicly ask for help, but here we are. I’m deeply thankful for the friends who encouraged me to be vulnerable and create this.
I’ve recently become immobilized by a complex medial meniscus tear in my knee. This happened immediately following a fractured tailbone from my recent move. There has been no recovery time between injuries. Currently, I am struggling to simply stand or walk. Nevermind cook and eat. I have MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), meaning I am allergic to all instant/premade/preserved/canned foods. I cannot rely on easy solutions; every meal is a physical challenge. I rarely eat or sleep due to the pains limitations. The one medication that might help, which I am not allergic to, makes me very groggy. Without Loki's or my needs met thats just not an option right now.
Surgery is not an option due to my genetic disability, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). I cannot have surgery unless the situation is fatal. The healing risks are too high. Prolotherapy (a regenerative injection therapy) and lengthy rehabilitation are my only treatment options. Which is not covered. My injury has only worsened thus far.
If you are close to me, you know that I now sublux and dislocate my joints regularly. I’ve been told, at this point, that I’ve made KT tape an aesthetic. This injury has been different. I cant even use crutches or a cane because they cause my shoulders and wrists dislocate.
I am also still mitigating ongoing issues from
• Surgery Oct 2025
• Nose fracture April 2025
• 3 Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) with raccoon eyes throughout the last year
Which have left me with lasting cognitive complications, affecting my memory and balance. Last year, I struggled to regain my vocabulary, form full sentences and regain my balance. I thoroughly learned how to cover my black/raccoon eyes as I had them more often than not.
I have not been able to work at all during 2026. My employment history is entirely in bartending & hospitality, which as you can imagine is not possible right now.
I am hoping to raise enough for treatment and stability from now to a potential course in fall, that could provide supports.
I need this treatment and to be able to stay off of my feet long enough to heal.
I am posting to request support for
• Prolotherapy
• Rehabilitation
• KT Tape
• Basic Needs
• Medications
• Supplements
• Food
• Loki's Needs
• Disability aids
• Things to Keep me off my feet
If anything is raised above this goal, it will be applied to additional medical recovery costs, transportation, etc.
If you made it this far, I am incredibly grateful. Thank you for seeing me, believing my story, and helping me stand again.
If you can only share, that is more than appreciated too.
