Cheyenne is my cousin, and she’s worked incredibly hard to get to where she is today. She’s 21 and currently enrolled at Mary Baldwin University studying Neuroscience and she is a proud Captain of her ROTC unit.

Cheyenne is set to graduate in May and when she does graduate she will be the FIRST in her immediate family to do so! Despite her dedication and academic success, she’s facing a major obstacle: she can’t pay off the last of her tuition, and the school won’t let her graduate unless the balance is cleared.

Cheyenne has been doing everything she can to make ends meet. She has worked at Cracker Barrel for the past 5 years while balancing her studies, but even with her job, she can’t earn enough to cover the remaining tuition by May. Her mother has made huge sacrifices to help her, even dipping into her 401K to pay for tuition in the past. Now, they’ve reached a point where they need a little extra help from their community.

All funds raised will go directly to Cheyenne’s tuition, ensuring she can walk across the stage and receive her diploma. She already has her books for the semester, so every dollar will help her pay off the balance that stands between her and graduation.
