help cheyenne get a new laptop

hello everyone —

a bit about me — i graduated college a few months ago and have been trying to support myself through a series of freelance work and temp jobs. my mother is unable to support me as she used to due to being out of work herself as a result of disabilities she acquired from a car accident she was in last summer. so whatever money i have leftover goes to helping out around the house and i’ve given up a number of my own luxuries to help her.

now to the computer. i’m a writer. my ultimate goal is to be supporting myself through writing for television and film. however, my trusty computer is dead. as a writer, my computer is my livelihood. this is an urgent matter for me to solve as my computer is the primary source of my creativity. this is not life or death, but i’d like a well functioning computer that will last just as long (and ideally longer) than my old computer. the goal is comprised of the cost of the computer as well as insurance and necessary accessories.
