Hello! I'm Cheyanne and I'm hoping to raise funds for my mom's medical care!

My Mom is an incredibly stubborn woman and, historically, when faced with a problem she would power through it. This is something she cannot power through.

Her health has been on the decline after a leukemia diagnosis, a little over a year now. She has gotten weaker. I have come home to her passed out on floor several times now. Iron infusions have helped greatly, but her insurance doesn't fully cover the type that have been effective for her. Most treatments has been $300-$400, with another that is $800 out of pocket. Not to mention the additional injuries she has sustained from the falls she has taken due to her weak constitution. She has recently recovered from a broken wrist that was the result of one of these falls.

She has been out of work since this has started and the financial aspect has largely fallen on me and I, just as stubborn as my mom as it turns out, struggle to ask for help. I took on extra work, drained my savings, and hoped for things to go back to normal. While I did eventually ask people close to me for assistance, it's just not sustainable for me or for them. I have taken on more work as an artist, and am currently overloaded to the point I can not physically keep up with my queue - we desperately need assistance.

These medical bills do not exist in a vacuum - we are at the point where we have had to seriously discuss if we should pay the rent or more treatment.

We have another round of infusions that's desperately needed (at $300) but the medical problems are ongoing so I'm setting this up with the hopes that the paperwork for the program my mom's doctor is trying to get her on will be processed and pushed through quickly and we will no longer have to worry about high copays.

It's hard to ask for help without offering anything in return, but I know we can't last much longer like this.

All funds raised will go towards her medical needs.
