Hi everyone, my name is Eleena and I'm the mother of my 6 month old English Bulldog baby named Chewy. Unfortunately, on the morning of June 7th, Chewy collapsed and it was very hard for him to walk. His energy dropped to zero, and I took him to the VEG ER. After a 24-hour stay with him, we left with no answers. I did my own research, contacted a neurologist, and made an appointment for the next morning, which was June 9th. He stayed overnight where they gave him an MRI to confirm it is a neurological issue.

I got the devastating call from the doctor telling me Chewy has a blocked lateral aperture in his brain, causing liquid to not drain properly to his spine, which is inhibiting him from walking. The options we were given are a $15,000 surgery which he may not survive and it may not be successful, or to put him down as he's in a lot of pain. This is truly my worst nightmare, and I will do anything for him, so I am hoping for a positive outcome of the surgery because I just cannot put him down as is.
