Meet Chewy — a brave little kitten fighting to save his leg

Hi everyone, my name is Chewy, and I need your help.

I was rescued with my three siblings when we were just two weeks old. Someone sent my foster mom a photo of us in a box, and without hesitation, she rushed to save us. She bottle-fed us every three hours, kept us warm, and gave us all the love we needed to grow strong.

My siblings all found wonderful homes, but the family who planned to adopt me had to back out due to a no-pets policy. Luckily, my foster mom didn’t mind keeping me — and it truly felt like I had finally found my forever home.

But this week, something scary happened.

On Wednesday night, while my parents were having dinner, I accidentally hurt my leg. They rushed me to the emergency vet, where X-rays showed that I had broken my back right leg. The first vet said it would likely need to be amputated. My mom was devastated.

The next day, she took me to a specialist for more tests, X-rays, and bloodwork. And there was hope — the doctor said he can save my leg. But the surgery and treatment are extremely expensive.

I’m just a little kitten who wants to run, play, and live a full, happy life with the family who saved me. Saving my leg means everything to us.
