Help Chewy Heal: Support His Recovery

On Sunday, April 27th, Chewy, my sweet 13-pound Chiweenie, suffered a terrible accident and shattered his front right humerus in 3 pieces. He needed emergency veterinary care to repair his paw, which required 11 screws and 2 compression plates across his condyle to fix the T/Y-shaped fracture.

Chewy must stay slightly sedated and is on antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and pain meds to help him heal from the surgery.

Without pet insurance, the medical bills are overwhelming at over $8,000. We’re doing everything we can to make sure Chewy gets the treatment he needs, and any amount you can give would mean the world to us—and to him. Every dollar helps and brings us closer to his recovery, which will be about 6-8 weeks of limited activity.
