Chewy is my heart and my constant companion. In the last couple of years, I’ve faced unimaginable loss—my mom passed away in 2023, then my sister in 2024, and just last April, I lost my closest friend of 30 years. Through all of this, Chewy has been my only joy and the reason I keep going. His love and presence have helped me find hope on the hardest days.

Recently, Chewy suffered a terrible accident when he fell 11 feet off my terrace and broke his leg. The medical bills have already become overwhelming, and we’re far from done with his treatment. As a 70-year-old retiree on a very tight budget, I’m struggling with the costs, but I want to do everything I can to help Chewy heal and stay by my side.
