Hi, my name is Ellie and I'm reaching out in a time of need to ask for your help for my dog, Chewbacca. For the past 12 years he has been by my side through thick and thin, but he is now facing a serious health issue that requires immediate medical attention.

Chewbacca has been diagnosed with a root tooth abscess, and unfortunately, the infection has become severe enough that he needs surgery to treat it. Without the surgery, the abscess could lead to even more dangerous complications, putting his life at risk.

After visiting the vet I learned that this surgery is the only option to relieve his severe pain. The vet has quoted $3,500 for the surgery and follow-up care, and as a recent graduate with school loans as is, it's simply beyond my current financial means.
