Help Chessie and Morgan

Hi, my name is Carissa and I am fundraising for Morgan. The past month and a half have been nothing but brutal emotionally and mentally- not just for Morgan, but her lovely golden retriever Chessie. Chessie is only a year old and is having a ton of health issues that no vet can seem to get to the bottom of. She started becoming very lethargic, not herself, just laying around. Progressively it started getting worse, from hacking, to having no appetite, becoming very dehydrated. Now it’s to the point where we know she’s in pain, panting very heavy, short heavy breathes- and now not being able to bend over to eat or drink out of her food bowl unless she’s being fed by hand and the bowl is being held up to her. The first vet said there was nothing wrong, but Morgan knew her pup and knew that wasn’t right. The next vet listened and decided to run urine tests, blood work, x -rays- you name it. Three different antibiotics, pain meds, and meds to make her have an appetite nothing has helped. Chessie is producing a large amount of white blood cells and hemoglobins which means there is an infection somewhere, but no vet has quite gotten to the bottom of it. After 11 different appointments, with three different vets, and no answers. She finally received a referral to a neurologist and internal medicine specialist. Unfortunately, that becomes very expensive. Anything helps! Thank you for donating.
