Help Che’s Family in The Gambia Survive and Thrive

My name is Max Hollenbeck. I’ve been raising funds online to help families in dire need, especially in The Gambia, where extreme poverty, lack of infrastructure, and political neglect make daily life a struggle. I take this work seriously and treat every donation with transparency and respect — ensuring it goes exactly where it’s needed.

Che is someone I trust completely. I’ve talked to him, and he has a pure and good heart and lives his life in a wholesome, Christian way. He is dedicated to supporting his grandmother and younger brothers, and I know that any help given will be used directly for food, rent, school costs, and basic survival needs. Your contribution will go to Che himself, and through him, to his family.

Che’s Statement:

“I am living on the outskirts of Brikama Town, in the humble village of Gidda. Life is a relentless struggle for my family. We lost our father when we couldn’t afford medical bills. To support my grandma and young brothers, I reluctantly left school for underpaid manual work. The toil is unrelenting, but it barely puts food on our table. Rent payments weigh heavily on my shoulders.

In The Gambia, opportunities are scarce without an education. Our nation lacks proper healthcare; childbirth is perilous. Children suffer without shelter or education. Nobody’s there to help us, yet we hope for a better tomorrow. I am living with my grandmother and siblings in Gambia. It’s poor management of resources, substandard governance, and underinvestment in education and human resources that are associated with slow growth rates and low real per capita income.”

Che’s story is not unique in The Gambia — but it’s one we can change together. Every dollar counts. Your donation will go directly to food, shelter, and education for his family. Please, give what you can today, share this link, and help turn hope into reality.
