Cheryl Watters is many things: Wife and mom of two, English and history teacher, baker, bookworm, eternal optimist, and one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. In April of 2024, she was diagnosed with leukemia and has been undergoing cancer treatment ever since. After undergoing every treatment that Tucson had to offer, doctors recommended she travel to Houston in order to clinical trial treatments. After trying everything available to reduce her leukemia numbers, Cheryl is now back in Tucson receiving in-home hospice care. Donations are still welcome as the family takes this time off work to be at Cheryl's bedside. Any amount raised helps to pay for the medical bills from the last year of treatment and all the costs associated with end-of-life care.
