Short-Term Support While Transitioning Back to Work
Hi, I am Cheryl,
I am currently in a temporary but difficult financial transition and asking for help for the first time in my life.
I have worked consistently throughout my life and right now, I am actively looking for work in accounting and related fields. My recent history has been accounting manager roles in the agricultural sector. I am applying, interviewing, and doing everything I can to return to stable employment as quickly as possible.
The situation I am in began after an investment with a restaurant, which is facing challenges with the landlord and staffing issues, that I am continuing to try to resolve. Which complicated this even further, the key to the restaurant was unavailable as it had been removed, for which we just received a key last week. So I am actively working through those issues while focusing on getting back into the workforce.
My immediate needs fall into two areas:
-Basic living expenses (transportation, utilities, and essential costs-while I complete this transition back into steady employment).
-A one-time attorney retainer ($3,000) to properly address and resolve the legal situation so I can move forward.
I have set a goal of $7,000 to cover both of these urgent needs.
If you're able to contribute-even $10 or $20-it would truly help me get through this period and focus on rebuilding stability. If you're not in a position to give, I completely understand-sharing this or sending job leads would mean just as much.
And if all you can offer is encouragement and prayers, I am sincerely grateful for that too.
This is not easy for me to ask, but I am putting it out there with honesty and hope.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Warm regards,
~Cheryl
