Help Support Cheryl Through Her Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Stephanie Hegg, and I’m raising funds for my mom, Cheryl Nelson.

Last August, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. Just three weeks later, we learned she also had ovarian cancer. In September, she underwent major surgery to remove the ovarian cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments since then.

Later this month, she will meet with her radiologist to evaluate how the lung cancer is responding to treatment, and radiation may be the next step in her care.

My mom is self-employed and has been unable to work since early September due to surgeries and ongoing treatment. As many of you know, when you’re self-employed, time away from work means no income — and the medical bills continue to grow.

We are asking for support to help cover medical expenses, living costs, and the financial strain that has come with this unexpected journey. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement means more than we can express.
