Help Cheryl Recover from Hurricane Ida
“16 years later and I’m homeless again”
It's hard to hear your mom say those words and not because of a bad decision, but mother nature's fury. Our mom, Cheryl Colon Rodeghero, uttered those words, after Hurricane Ida unleashed her havoc and destroyed her home on August 29, 2021... which also happens to be the date that 16 years prior, Hurricane Katrina, took her Metairie home. Cheryl is one of the most genuinely kind, will-do-anything-for-anyone-at-any-time-day-or-night, type of people. She loves unconditionally and to know her is to love her. A 100+ year old water oak tree, fell in the early morning hours of Hurricane Ida, splitting her home in half. The home is a total loss.
We really appreciate any and all donations!
