Updated September 12, 2024: We are sad to report that Cheryl made her transition after a valiant battle. She brought so much light and love into our hearts. Cheryl Lynn Irvin dedicated her life to the education and well-being of others. She is the founder of the private school, New Alkebulan Education in South Florida. Cheryl made a significant impact on our community.

In October 2023, she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a severe form of cancer that affected her heart and left lung.
