I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer on December 16th of last year. I’ve been through 6 rounds of chemotherapy and a total hysterectomy. We are retired but I was working part time before the diagnosis and had to quit due to covid and my immune system being compromised. Expenses such as the copays, parking, meds and travel have hit our pocket book as well as mounting medical costs . I’m not one to ask for help but I’m reaching out. I’ve developed neuropathy in both legs and my hands which is preventing me from getting back to work. Keep the prayers coming please and thanks.

Update;
Final CT scan is scheduled for Thursday along with bloodwork. Meeting with my oncologist/gynecologist on Monday to see if any further treatment is needed as far as maintenance drugs. We’re hoping not. Keep the prayers coming please
7/4 update:
I’m still receiving donations through go fund me so I’m going to keep the post open for another week. I want to continue to ask for prayers as this journey is not yet over and thank everyone for their support.
Update 6/21:
Dr was thoroughly pleased with bloodwork. The CA125 test which is a marker for the cancer is so low it’s not registering. What that means is there is no sign of any cancer that can be detected. Her words to us as we left were “now go celebrate “. They are starting me on physical therapy as the neuropathy has affected my legs to the point that I don’t feel safe walking outside the house without a walker. Please keep the prayers coming as they have truly worked so far.
Update 6/30
Other than the neuropathy in my legs and fingers I’m doing extremely well.
Due to the extreme kindness shown by all who donated on here and the extreme generosity of friends and former coworkers we have reached our original goal. We believe that we can cover any other costs as they evolve. I still have physical therapy to go through and we have no idea what that cost will be but we will take care of that when the time comes
That being said we Are going to shut down the go fund site for me next Sunday. If you still want to donate please do so by then as we will greatly appreciate it.
