Help Cheryl Lawrence Williams Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Maryann O'Brien Stansfield and I'm writing on behalf of a dear friend in need. Cheryl Williams is fighting aggressive genetic-based breast cancer and it's taking a toll on their family finances. Cheryl is a spirited, funny, caring, and awesome mother to Heather and Kayla, wife to husband Mark, caring daughter & sister and a dear friend.

I've known and loved this woman for going on 45 years and she is amazing. Cheryl has worked in the hospitality industry in Northampton and Hatfield MA, & Paso Robles and Atascadero CA for over 40 years. You all know her, have seen her, worked with her, went to school with her, laughed with her or had her as your awesome server over the years. Back in the day she helped her parents run the classic Caspers Bar & Grill in Hatfield, MA, and waited tables at the Christmas Inn in Whately, MA. Then she moved to CA in 1987 and she kicked ass at the Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse for over 20 years, helped open the restaurant at Allegreto Resort, did a stint at Artisan (both in Paso), and post Covid, she has been working and kicking ass at The Guest House Grill in Atascadero CA. She has personally impacted my life since high school, and I consider her family.

Cheryl has been receiving an aggressive chemo treatment since August and will most likely endure a surgery early next year, followed by more rounds of chemo. She has not been able to work, so not only does she have increasing healthcare costs, she is not able to realize income and contribute to her (normally) dual income home.
