*note- since the prior GoFundMe was started by a friend and lacked much information I think it is best to start over since I can’t delete that or edit it. As many of you know I have further struggles and expenses this year and I’m trying to get things moving again to pay off some pretty heavy debt asa a result. So here we go…

I’m Cheryl, and I’m asking for help as I continue battling incurable stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. In 2024, a mass caused fractures in five of my vertebrae, and since then my health journey has only become more complicated. I had to stop one part of my treatment because of jaw necrosis caused by an infusion, and I’ve also been dealing with additional dental issues from extensive radiation and cancer treatment. In January 2026, I went through emergency surgery for a bowel perforation and sepsis. That surgery saved my life, but it also left me with a colostomy and changed my life in ways I’m still trying to adjust to. I spent 44 days in the hospital and rehab, and now I am facing three upcoming MRIs, two on my spine and one on my brain, because of a suspected new area of cancer.

All of this has created overwhelming medical debt and financial stress at a time when I need every bit of energy to focus on my health. Because of my loss of income, I am living on SSDI and Medicare, and it has become very hard to keep up with co-pays, gas to get to treatments, vehicle repairs, and basic living expenses. The stress has taken a heavy emotional toll, but I am still fighting every day. If you are able to help, any support for my fundraiser would mean so much to me.
