Many of you have heard and enjoyed singer/songwriter, Cheryl Gaudet’s music in performances and benefit concerts or you may know her through her efforts as producer of the Mazatlan Comedy Club. A benefit event was my first introduction to Cheryl in Nova Scotia twenty years ago. She was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. The time has come to give back.

It is with extreme sadness that I share with you the news that my good friend has been suddenly diagnosed with kidney failure and is currently undergoing dialysis in a Mazatlan hospital 3 times a week. While unable to work and suffering setbacks in her resources from pandemic restrictions, she is experiencing a financial crisis. Hospital bills are mounting, and she must return to Canada as soon as possible to wait for a kidney transplant.

I ask the powers that be to let her continue sharing her wonderful talents and I ask you as friends and supporters to contribute to a fund that will help her through these challenging times.
