Hi my name is Cheryl. I'm raising funds for myself due to going through IV chemo treatment and still being homeless. I am getting released from the hospital tomorrow-Monday April 6th after being here since Monday March 23rd. I had excessive fluid in both lower legs, my lungs and around my heart. I was having shortness of breath and some chest pain. I had went in to check the status of my cancer by having another CT scan. After I got done I had shortness of breath and chest pain and I almost passed out. My partner Jessee took me into urgent care and they told me my O2 stats dropped to 64 so they placed me on oxygen and then had me transported by ambulance to ER. They did a Chest xray and CT of my lungs to make sure I didn't have any pulmonary clots. Thankfully it was negative. They started me on 80mg of Lasix twice a day through my port to get rid of all the excessive fluid. I've dropped 43 pounds which converts to 34 2 liters of fluid. I'm off the oxygen also. I do get to go home tomorrow but I didn't get to work the last two weeks and I only have 6 hours of sick time left. That means really no paycheck this week which makes it hard to have groceries or gas to get to doctor appointments. I've lost most of my hair and eyebrows. I'm working remotely From home right now because I'm dealing with cellulitis in my right lower leg and fighting a lot of fatigue. We've been staying at an Airbnb but I can't keep doing that because then I can't save any money to get a permanent place to live. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
