A year and a half ago, Cheryl was diagnosed with nodular melanoma, a rare and aggressive skin cancer. In January of this year it metastasized to both lungs and most recently to her brain. Each scan brings more uncertainty. Each day brings new challenges.

Cheryl has started on her 3rd round of treatments and will be starting some radiation to try and slow the spread. Emotionally, physically and financially it's taking everything's has.

Her most recent scan indicated 11 lesions which will take 10 whole brain radiation treatments over the coming weeks.
