Hi, I'm Tonya (Toni) Sumner. I'm starting this fund for my sister Cheryl Evans, who needs cataract surgery. Her eyesight has declined severely in the past few months. Her right eye has 75% vision loss, and her left eye has 50% vision loss.
Her Medicaid and supplement insurance will pay most of it, but she has a copay of about $500-$600 per eye. A goal of $1500 was set to help cover any unexpected expenses.
She can no longer drive because of this and is beginning to have difficulty with household chores. I wish we lived closer so I could help her more.
Cheryl is the main caregiver for her handicapped daughter Georgianna, or Georgie, as we call her. Georgie has to be helped from her bed to her wheelchair and desperately needs her mom to help her with most of her daily necessities, including bathing and numerous doctor's visits.
Cheryl's first eye surgery will be scheduled sometime in October or November.
Please pray for my sister and her family as they go through this difficult time. If you see it in your heart to donate even a small amount, every little bit helps. But if you're not able to help monetarily, remember prayer and sharing this post is helping in ways you may not even realize. Maybe someone else might see it and could donate.
Thank you all in advance. We love each and every one of you.
