Hello, I am Cheryl Decoteaux. I have been unemployed since May 2024. The company was losing money, had a big layoff, and my job was eliminated. I have gone through my unemployment as of the middle of November 2024.
- Several relatives have helped me with my rent the last few months but now are no longer able to continue. I am now asking for your help with my rent which is $1875 a month. My car has some things wrong with it that need to be fixed. The estimate is $1000. I have car insurance quickly coming due which is $678. Both of these need to be taken care of so I can continue to go to interviews.
I am aggressively applying for jobs, Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. I am finding that up to 100 people are applying for each job, which is very stressful. I do get interviews, but someone else gets the job offer even though I am told they are impressed with my resume and professionalism.
I am asking for any help you can give me until I get that job offer.
