My Aunt Cheryl Bowman has been in hospitals and rehabilitation centers for over 5 months now.  Cheryl was diagnosed in February of  2020 with thyroid cancer affecting her neck, ribs, shoulder, and hip she received radiation on her hip and a month of chemo that made her very sick, lots of vomiting causing dehydration, and many hospital visits. In September of 2020, she was diagnosed with  Guillain-Barre syndrome which was caused by chemo treatment. So all cancer treatment was stopped at this time. Guillain-Barre is a very rare condition where the immune system attacks the nerves, causing weakness and tingling in her feet, legs, hands, and spreads to the upper body sometimes causing paralysis. Treatment can help but there is no cure. Cheryl has been getting occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy for over 5 months now.  Cheryl and her husband Dave were a two-income family before all this started, now Cheryl hasn't been able to work in over 6 months at least. With one income and a heaping pile of medical bills, they have accumulated a lot of debt.  Dave is trying his best to work and be there for Cheryl with the help of all her sisters and family.
We all love Cheryl very much she has a heart of gold and is one of the sweetest people I know and she is my Aunt, if you could please help this family in any way so they can make ends meet while we focus on her treatments now and in the future.
