Cherrie is a 34-year-old overseas worker residing in Labrador City, NL Canada. She is a vibrant individual that lights up the room wherever she goes. A single mother of a 13 year-old son who is living in the Philippines. She sacrificed to be away from her family to be a permanent resident in Canada and to be able to petition her family to provide a comfortable life.

Unfortunately, while waiting for her papers to process. In August 2017, she received a devastating news that she was diagnosed with T2N1 Stage 2 Ductal Carcinoma of the right breast, she underwent mastectomy in August 2017.
After 2 years, she now has Metastatic Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Specifically HER2-positive, an aggressive type of breast cancer which has already spread to her lungs. Her doctors are very optimistic about her case and said that this is an incurable situation but very treatable .
Her doctors recommends her to have 10 cycles of chemotherapy every 3 weeks. Which will be evaluated throughout the process depending on her response to the treatments.
She was a kitchen helper at a restaurant in Labrador City. Due to the side effects of chemotherapy plus the high physical demands of her work, this makes it highly challenging for her to keep working.
Knowing Cherrie, she is not the type to ask for anything from anyone. She is more of a giver than a receiver. But with out of pocket expenses and not being able to work, her bills are starting to add up. This is undoubtedly the time that she needs us the most.
She's had 2 treatments to date, and as you can see from the pictures, she is a born FIGHTER. She is a very positive person and smiles her way through her battles. A perfect example of resilience and grace.
Any amount is a blessing and is highly appreciated. The proceeds will go directly towards Cherrie's basic living expenses, groceries, gas money to take her to and from her chemotherapies, and other health needs.
Your thoughts and prayers towards her speedy recovery are equally important. Let us flood the heavens with prayers to help this angel WIN her battle with cancer.
