Please help my mom through this hardship

FINAL UPDATE:
My dad took his last breath at 8:04am today, October 25th, 2024. My mom and I held his hands and told him how much we loved him and how much we look forward to seeing him again. Any donations to my mom would be appreciated and helpful, but certainly not expected. Services for my dad have not been finalized yet. I will update in a separate post when they are.

UPDATE: My dad is in the hospital now. The hospice workers say they don’t expect him to make it to Thanksgiving. Any help you can give, whether it’s prayers for his comfort, prayers for my mom, or financially, I am grateful.
For those of you who know me, you know I hate asking for help. But I need help.
My name is Ashley. The man in this picture is my dad, Guy Reddoor.
One week ago Monday (on September 30th) we found out my dad has terminal metastatic cancer. Prior to that day, we didn’t know anything was wrong. He had just had shoulder replacement surgery in August. His health and his life was supposed to be improving. And now he is in hospice care. This has blindsided my mom and me. My mom was looking forward to being able to have my dad’s help with things again, to have him return to some of his strength. And she is now scrambling to try to find a way to pay for the end of his life. She and my dad were T-boned in a car accident 3 years ago (the reason he needed shoulder replacement surgery). The settlement for that accident WAS his shoulder surgery. And it seems it’s all been for nothing. My mother doesn’t have any money to give my father a service, or even enough to cremate him, which is all we are looking to do. We are willing to forego a service/funeral but just want to be able to have him cremated with dignity. She refused to ask for help when my brother died in 2009, but that was a huge financial burden for her that set her back for years and times are different now. My mother and I were both working at that time. But I’m now staying home with my 2 young boys, and she has been taking care of my dad for the last 3 years. I want to make ANY part of this difficult situation even just the slightest bit easier. So I am asking if any of you can help us with my dads end of life costs. We don’t know how long he has left. The doctors tell us it’s only a few short months at most. For whatever time we have left, I want to give my children time with their grandpa, although I know my youngest (Dexter, 9months) is too young and won’t remember him, my dad will cherish every smile he gets out of him. And I want my mom to not have to worry about whether she will be able to give my dad a cremation.
If you can donate, it is so very appreciated. Below is the costs breakdown just to show where any donations will go. If you can’t, I absolutely understand and hope that you can at least share this to your social media in some way. Thank you.
Cremation: $1,450
Private viewing (for up to 10 people): $450
Personal effects to be returned to us: $25
Death certificates: $26
Removal from residence: $175
Cremation permit: $130
Total: $2256
I set the goal at $3000 to cover any unknown fees that come up, for example if he needs to be transported (meaning if he passes) during non-business hours, there’s an additional cost.
In the event we surpass the goal, any and all extra would go to my mom to cover some costs of fixing her home (the master bedroom literally doesn’t have a floor). Thank you again for any support you can give.
