Cher is a cute and quirky little kitty who, along with his sister Ramen, has brought so much joy and laughter into my life. Anyone who has met these two knows just how unique and special their personalities are. Recently, both Cher and Ramen faced unexpected health scares that turned our world upside down. Ramen developed impacted anal glands that went unnoticed until they became severe, requiring emergency veterinary attention. Just a week later, Cher suddenly stopped eating and drinking, which led to severe dehydration. X-rays revealed his stomach was full of air, and his condition quickly became critical. The dehydration caused alarming blood test results, and Cher needed 24-hour emergency care, including fluids, a nasal gastric tube, ultrasounds, and trickle feeding to help him recover.

The past couple of weeks have been incredibly stressful and emotionally draining as I’ve done everything possible to make sure Cher and Ramen get the care they need. The emergency vet bills have added up quickly, and there may be ongoing treatments required in the coming weeks to ensure both kitties make a full recovery.
