Hi, my name is Chelsie Yzaguirre. I’m 31 years old, a single mother to a wonderful 9-year-old girl, and currently about 5.5 months pregnant with my second child. Life has thrown me some unexpected challenges recently, and I’m reaching out for help because I truly don’t know what else to do.

A few months ago, someone put spray foam in the gas tank of my car. Over time, it worked its way into the engine, causing major damage. Now my car is constantly breaking down and has become completely unreliable. On top of that, the day before Thanksgiving, my landlord gave me an eviction notice. I’m terrified of losing my housing—especially with a new baby on the way. I currently survive on a very limited monthly income, and it’s barely enough to cover basic needs. I’ve even thought about standing on a street corner with a sign saying, “I’m not homeless… I just need a little help,” but my pride won’t let me. So this GoFundMe is my alternative.

If you’re able to help, funds will first go toward paying overdue rent so my kids and I can stay in our home.
