Help Chelsey Rebuild After House Fire

Hello, my name is Chelsey. On Tuesday 06/25/2024, on Sheridan Dr., WILLIAMSVILLE, NY around 9:15 am, I received a phone call that no family ever imagines receiving. Smoke was coming out of the front window of the house.

The neighbor upstairs had contacted the fire department immediately as she was inside and had smelled smoke and heard alarms going off on the lower floor. It turned out that a kitchen fire had started and destroyed the entire inside of the home, including all our property inside. Unfortunately, I did not have any renters insurance on the property.

Thankfully, my son (5yo) was visiting with his father that day. The fire department had rescued our family dog (9yo) and my son's pet hamster that was trapped inside at the time of the accident. My son and I lost everything inside the house, including all belongings. It has been a challenge every day for us since because my son knows nothing and has been staying at his father's since, and I don't even know where to start.

At this time, we will remain trusting God in the process of trying to reestablish our home and belongings that were damaged from the smoke and fire. I am a firm believer in God and that he is with my family through this difficult time that we are currently experiencing. Donations received will help us replace the belongings lost and find us a new home for my family.
