My name is Kathy Courtney. This is Chelsea Welch. My sister, Jane Moriarty, is a coworker with Chelsea at Prairie Hills. Chelsea is a 28 year old single mother. Chelsea graduated from the Ottumwa High School and works at Prairie Hills. She was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. She had brain surgery before Thanksgiving. Chelsea has to do seven weeks of radiation and an oral chemo. During her treatment, she will not be able to work. Before this nightmare started she was all caught up on her bills. Chelsea will not be able to work for at least three months give or take. I am helping my sister start this go fund me account so we can help Chelsea during this difficult time without her having to worry about how she is going to pay her rent, utilities, and feed her children.
